Kirkland Woman Accused of Stalking Clay Aiken

Police in North Carolina say 57-year-old Barbara Jean Saylor scaled a security fence outside the singer's property last week.

A 57-year-old Kirkland woman is facing charges of misdemeanor stalking and trespassing after police say she scaled a security fence at the North Carolina home of singer Clay Aiken on April 3.

The Chatham County Sheriff's Office said in a news release that deputies were called to Aiken's property after receiving a call about a woman looking into windows. Barbara Jean Saylor was allegedly ordered to leave the property and did so after being told police had been notified.

Aiken decided to press charges against Saylor, telling police Saylor "had done something similar in the past," according to the release. She was arrested and released on a $5,000 bond.
