Update: Help Needed to Find Missing Dog

Update, Jan. 16: A community member has informed us that Mandy is still missing and the owner is asking for help finding the flat-coated retriever, who disappeared after her owner was involved in a car crash last Friday.

Irene Anderson said Mandy was possibly spotted Tuesday near the fire station at 141st Street and 84th Avenue. Mandy was wearing a blue harness at the time of the collision, Anderson added.

The dog's owner is 86-years-old and does not have immediate family in the area, so he is relying on the community to help search, Anderson said. If you'd like to help, call Anderson at 425-821-0566 (home) or 206-369-4108 (cell).

A local family is asking the Kirkland community to help find a senior dog who ran into the woods after Friday's fiery car crash on Finn Hill.

A Kirkland Patch Facebook user shared the following post from Tammy Bondarook:

"KIRKLAND, WA... SENIOR DOG RAN AWAY AFTER CAR ACCIDENT... In the area of Finn Hill... Juanita Drive / NE 141st Street... My brother-in-law was in a car accident yesterday taking the dogs to the vet. Mandy, a black Flat-coated Retriever ran off into the woods. She is wearing a collar and tag, and is chipped. Please help us find her. Thank you."

Anyone with information is asked to call 206-898-0852.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
