Kirkland Police release sketch of carjacking suspect; Call Tip Line 425-587-3515 with info

On April 21, 2014 at about 10:30 p.m., a female was using her phone while sitting in her car in the parking lot of Evergreen Hospital, 12040 NE 128th St, Kirkland. The suspect approached and banged on the victim’s window to get her attention. The suspect was armed with what was described as a semi-automatic handgun with a black matte finish and a small amount of silver near the trigger guard. The 43 year old female victim reported the male suspect displayed a handgun and demanded her vehicle.  

 

The suspect is described as a black male adult in his late 20’s, approximately 5’8” and a medium build. His skin was a light complexion and he had a “wispy” mustache. The victim described his face as narrow with pronounced creases along the sides.

His jacket appears to be a “Northface” brand, dark green with black under the arms and white branding on the front left breast and back right shoulder. The suspect wore saggy blue jeans and had a black backpack with long straps hanging down. He wore large, bright blue low-cut Nike shoes.
