Deck Your House in Patch's Holiday Contest, Win $100,000 for Schools

Patch's holiday decorating contest begins Thursday; the grand prize winner gets $100,000 for his or her local school system.

You say you've got the grandest display of lights and holiday decorations on your block? Well, this year creating a winter wonderland could result in your earning $100,000 for local schools.

Starting Thursday, you can enter Patch's Deck the House Contest by submitting photos for a chance to win $100,000 for your local public school system, $500 toward your electric bill or bragging rights in your neighborhood.

The contest will run until Dec. 26 and Patch readers will vote for the best-decked house in their town. From there, Patch judges will select 24 finalists nationwide, who will get their December electric bill paid by Patch (up to $500).
