Foothills Could See Snow by Mid-Week, Maybe Some on Kirkland's Hills

The mountain passes, meanwhile, are expected to get heavy snow on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Cascade foothills will likely get a dusting of snow on Wednesday night, as snow levels drop around the Puget Sound region, with a chance of snow on Kirkland's hills.

The National Weather Service forecast for Finn Hill, for example, says snow and rain showers are likely after 10 p.m. on Wednesday. The snow level will be 500 feet, and little or no accumulation is expected.
