Gallery: Anyone Else See the Goat Herd on 70th & 116th in Kirkland?

Reader Toni Bailey sent Kirkland Patch some terrific photos of the critters, brought in by the landowner to clear the brush from a field. If you took some photos too, please add them here!

Reader Toni Bailey sent Kirkland Patch the wonderful photos here of a goat herd brought in by the landowner to clear brush from a field near the park and ride lot  at NE 70th Street and 116th Avenue on Rose Hill.

Toni reports the landowner does this periodically to keep the grass and brush down, and that the herd drew quite a crowd on Monday. "It's very amusing to watch the goats graze, climb trees looking for leaves to eat, and butt heads and frolic around!" she writes.

We are thrilled that Toni shared the photos, first because they're pretty cool and second, because Kirkland Patch is a two-way street on this information highway. We are here to inform and entertain -- but also to initiate and engage the community in an on-going conversation.

So thanks to Toni Bailey! And anyone else with photos of the goats, please add them here by clicking on "Add Photos and Videos" under the main photo. And remember you can always upload your interesting photos anytime to our Kirkland Pics & Clips file right here.
