Go Dog, Go! at Juanita Beach; Movie Night at Carillon Point

- The sunrise is at 5:36 a.m. and the sunset at 8:55 p.m.
- The Green Kirkland Partnership invites locals to volunteer at Juanita Bay Park from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Activities will include restoring natural environments and removing invasive species.
- Dog owners and lovers won't want to miss Go Dog, Go! -- a canine festival and dog walk today from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at . Admission is free and events include a disc dog competition, agility demos, live music and dog experts. The two mile Dog Walk begins at 9:30 -- registration for the walk is $20 per family and includes a doggie bag of goodies plus one adult t-shirt.
- Fun for everyone, Carillon Point's outdoor movie tonight is "Despicable Me," beginning at 9 p.m. The $5 suggested donation goes to Hopelink.
