Kirkland Fire Stations Collecting Holiday Toys and Food for Hopelink

Donations are being accepted now through December 31 at six fire stations and City Hall.

Kirkland, Wash. –  The Kirkland Fire Department is once again hosting a toy and food drive to benefit Hopelink over the holidays. New, unwrapped gifts and non-perishable food items will be accepted at City Hall, 123 5th Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, and the following fire stations from  8 a.m. to  9 p.m., Monday through Sunday, November 21 through December 31:

  • Fire Station 21/Forbes Creek, 9816 Forbes Creek Drive
  • Fire Station 22/Houghton, 6602 108 Ave NE
  • Fire Station 24/Finn Hill, 8411 NE 141 St.
  • Fire Station 25/Holmes Point, 12033 76 Place NE
  • Fire Station 26/Rose Hill, 9930 124 Ave NE
  • Fire Station 27/Totem Lake, 11210 NE 132 Street

Donations are provided to the Kirkland/Northshore Hopelink location, which operates a food bank and service center. Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
