Kirkland Fitness Studio Owner Plans Run Today in Honor of Boston Victims

"It's the least we can do," said Tami Jones, who operates The Union Method fitness studio near Juanita Village. The short run is planned for 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 16.

 

The Union Method fitness studio in Juanita is planning a short run Tuesday evening in honor of the victims of the Boston Marathon explosions.

The gym posted on its Facebook page the following:

“I will be going for a quick run in honor of the victims of the Boston Marathon before the 5:45pm cardio circuit class tonight and would love for you to join me. If you are interested, please meet at the studio at 5pm and we will honor those affected by this horrible tragedy! (comment below if you plan to be there).”

The Union Method is at 9718 NE Juanita Drive (near Spud’s Fish and Chips) and is operated by Tami Jones.

“It’s been pretty devastating,” Jones said of Monday’s tragedy in Boston. “It’s the least we can do.”
