Need Local Gift Ideas? Try the Kirkland Arts Center Store's Open House

The KAC store at Parkplace Center will host an open house with work by more than 100 local artists -- jewelry, prints, paintings -- on Friday, Dec. 7, 6-8 p.m.

Β

Searching for local pottery, paintings, sculptures, print arts or jewelry to help fill your gift list? There’s probably not a better spot than the Kirkland Arts Center (KAC) store at Parkplace Center, which is hosting an open house Friday evening from 6 to 8.

On sale will be a selection of gifts made by more than 100 local artists, all KAC members, and light refreshments will be served. There will be a 10 percent discount for KAC members.

KAC is on Market Street, of course, but its store is at 336 Kirkland Parkplace, between Einstein Bagels and Parkplace Cinema. The store supports the programs of the KAC, which this year is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The store's regular hours are Tuesday-Sunday: Noon to 7 p.m., and its phone is 425-822-7161, extension 100.
