Pet of the Week: Abandoned Gonzo Happy Again and Needs Home

The loveable 1-year-old was rescued after being found hungry, thirsty and dirty.

Gonzo is one of several cats who was left behind not long ago when his humans moved, and he was hungry, thirsty and dirty when saved by volunteer at Houghton's MEOW Cat Rescue shelter.

Gonzo also has some small sores on his ears and nose, which are healing very nicely. Now his fur is looking and feeling soft, clean and luxurious too!

Gonzo is a 1-year-old male domestic shorthair, white with black markings/patches. He is small in stature, but....big in the affection department!  He is a little bundle of love who loves neck rubs and he is quick to share a meow of gratitude and a most satisfactory purr.

Gonzo's feline personality ("feline-ality") is that of a "Private Investigator." The definition of an Private Investigator: I'm working undercover to keep an eye on you and your household.  You might not even know you're under surveillance.  I can vanish into thin air if anyone or anything interferes with my investigation.  If you need a cat who knows how to stay out of trouble and will always keep your secrets, I just might take your case.

Gonzo has been neutered, micro-chipped, tested for FeLV/FIV, has been dewormed and parasite treated. He's had the works! If you think you could find a place for him in your home, see www.meowcatrescue.org or call 425-822-6369.

In the City of Kirkland you need a City-issued business license to do Door-to-door solicitation. IRead More am willing to bet they did not have the license. Call the police next time.

This lady has a real way with dogs! Kind, soft spoken, yet authoritative with the dogs, you canRead More tell your pet will be in good hands. She's helped me with my Newfoundland and a friend's Clumber Spaniel. I highly recommend her.
