Pet of the Week: Healthy Again, Rosita is Ready for Some Attention

This spunky 1-year-old is just like her name, small and pretty as a rose, and is ready for a new home after being abandoned.

Meet Rosita, whose name means "small rose" -- and she is very small and as beautiful as a flower.  Rosita is one of several cats who was abandoned in rural King County and is now living at the MEOW Cat Rescue shelter in Kirkland.

She was very thin, weak and had an eye infection, but is doing very well now.  She's ready to bloom in some lucky person's life.  Just one year old, Rosita has lots of fun and spunk. She loves to be by your side and is a master head bonker! She is full of purrs and love.

Rosita's "feline-ality" is a Personal Assistant.  The definition of a Personal Assistant:  "You're working on the computer?  Let me press the keys.  Reading the paper?  I'll hold the pages down for you.  Watching TV?  I'll just plop in your lap so you can pet me.  I love an orderly household, don't you?  I'll help you with all your chores and I'll help you relax when we're done.  You'll wonder how you ever managed without me."

If she sounds irresistible, you are right. This little cat has been spayed, micro-chipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, vaccinated and dewormed.  With the days shortening and the temperatures dropping, can you think of a better cat to snuggle up to?  Please come by and meet this sweetheart; see www.meowcatrescue.org or call 425-822-6369.
