Pets of the Week: Bonded Bros Elwood, Jake

The snow-white 1-year-olds are gregarious, affectionate, healthy and need to be adopted together.

Just look at these beautiful, snow white boys, Elwood and Jake. They are as handsome as can be with friendly and outgoing personalities to match. Elwood and Jake are 1-year-old brothers who were transferred to MEOW Cat Rescue shelter in Houghton from an overcrowded shelter in Eastern Washington.

The MEOW staff doesn't have a lot of history on these boys, but have assessed their "feline-alities" and they both scored as a Leader of the Band: "I'm a cat who does everything in a big way.  I not only like to be in the middle of things - I like to lead the parade.  I'm an adventurous cat, but I'll still make plenty of time to show you my affectionate side. I'm the demonstrative type, you might say. Want a cat that's brimming with confidence? That's me!"

Both of these cats are gregarious and valiant. These two brothers are bonded and need to be placed together. They are both neutered, microchipped, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated and dewormed.

They love to be stroked, they go a little crazy for toy mice and show affection by circling you and rubbing against your legs, heads, hand - all body parts! These boys will most likely do very well in a home with children and/or dogs.
