Restrooms Closed at Peter Kirk Park For Construction

There will be temporary toilet facilities adjacent to the existing building.

As of Thursday, July 18, the public restrooms at Peter Kirk Park are closed for renovation.

They’re expected to reopen in early September, the city announced Thursday.

“Exterior improvements were made as part of the Kirkland Transit Center construction project in 2010-2011; interior improvements begin now,” the city said. “The renovation will include new plumbing fixtures, and updated look with new lighting, toilet partitions, wall paint, ceramic tile color accents, new flooring material and American with Disabilities (ADA) improvements.”
