The goal of the firefighters benevolent fund is to make a positive impact on the community by directly supporting individuals and families in need. This includes providing funds to allow needy individuals or families to purchase items such as diapers, food, rent, to pay for medical bills, or even cab rides. We also believe in supporting organizations that seek to cure diseases, that enrich the lives of the disabled, or provide for the needy. Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
