  • Why Go: Piano sensation Jim Brickman's last show at KPC was sold out, no doubt due to his popular, romantic, pop-style instrumentals and solo compstions, which have earned him two grammy nominations and six gold or platinum albums. Check him out on the attached You Tube video.

  • Where/When: 6-9 p.m. on Sun, Nov. 6 at in Kirkland.
  • Why Go: Come wind down from the weekend craziness this Sunday with some live jazz at Olive You. Enjoy the beautiful vocal stylings of Diana Page, accompanied by pianist John Hansen.

  • Why Go: The King County Parks and Denny Creek Neighborhood Alliance are planning to plant seedlings in the Juanita Woodlands this January. But before that can happen they need your help to clear out blackberry bushes and other invasive species that stand in the way. So come and get some good wholesome exercise this Saturday morning while you do your part to help preserve our woodlands and waterways.

  • Where/When: Daily through Sat, Nov. 5 at in Bellevue.
  • Why Go: Join Shoes ‘n’ Feet of Bellevue this weekend for their Fall Fashion Festival. The festival will feature food and drinks, free gifts with purchase, drawings for free shoes, shoe donations (bring in gently used shoes and receive $10 off a new pair of shoes), free waterproofing, and more.   • Where/When: 1-3 p.m. on Sun, Nov. 6 at the Seattle Team Shop in .
  • Why Go: Come pick up the 2012 Sea Gals calendar this Sunday at the Seattle Team Shop in Bellevue Square. You’ll get to meet the Sea Gals and have your calendar signed. Go Seahawks!

  • Where/When: 1-6 p.m. on Saturday and 12-5 p.m. on Sunday at the in Woodinville.
  • Why Go: Join the Columbia Winery this weekend as they host their premier wine tasting and social event. Taste of Red features wine tasting of unique and current selections of Columbia Winery's red wines, including a sample straight from the barrel.   • Where/When: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sat, Nov. 5 at Woodmoor Elementary School.
  • Why Go: Join the Special Education Parent/Professional Advisory Council for their 31st annual Holiday Craft Fair this Saturday at Woodmoor Elementary. The fair will feature over 75 crafters with their beautiful handcrafted creations. Get your holiday shopping done early with these unique, one of a kind gifts. $1 raffle tickets will be available for chances to win baskets full of donated items from the crafters. Espresso, kettle corn and lunches will also be available for purchase.
  • Pricing: Admission is free. Proceeds from the craft fair fund the speaker stipends and monthly SEPAC presentations and expenses.
  • Where/When: 10 a.m. on Sat, Nov. 5 at in Redmond.
  • Why Go: Rain or shine, local area gardeners will gather to share and exchange plants and knowledge this Saturday in Redmond. No sales, just trades and freebies. New gardeners welcome.
