  • Why go: Get there early with chair or a blanket, enjoy a great dinner from , or and watch the sunset. Then relax and enjoy the classic "Dirty Dancing" on a huge screen overlooking Lake Washington. It's a community centered event with proceeds gong to , the Eastside non-profit group dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency to all members of the community.
  • Cost: A $5 donation to Hopelink is requested.

  • Why Go: It’s summertime, and how can you beat music outdoors? Bring a picnic supper to enjoy. The concert series put on by the Upper Bear Creek Community Council offers music each Thursday through Aug. 11.

  • Why go: Redmond Derby Days is celebrating its 71st anniversary in 2011. It’s a summer festival including a kids parade, grand parade, family entertainment stage, live music, bicycle Criterium race, food, carnival, beer and wine garden and fireworks finale.
