  • Why Go: Come out to the KPC as Italy's three most successful solo guitarists unite to create a concert experience like no other. Pino Forastiere, Stefano Barone and Sergio Altamura will be slamming, banging and plucking their instruments in ways you couldn’t imagine. Here’s a sneak peak of what you’re in for. Enjoy the show!

  • Why Go: Celebrate Back History month with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra at the KPC as they present “Benny Carter's Peaceful Warrior: A Tribute to Martin Luther King.”

  • Where/When: 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 2, at the Apple Farm Village Shopping Center in Woodinville.
  • Why Go: Visit the Apple Farm Village Shopping Center for an evening of excellent wine, food, music and art.  Enjoy tasting the high quality wines produced by Cougar Crest Winery, Zerba Cellars and Otis Kenyon Wine in a festival atmosphere. Listen to the musicians performing in each of the three tasting rooms. View the works of professional visual artists.  Experience pairing specialty foods with the wines at each establishment.

  • Why Go: Finn Hill Winery has teamed up with Intrigue Chocolates to pair special flavors of their chocolate truffles with Finn Hill red wines. Come and enjoy these unique pairings that you won’t find anywhere else.
  • Cost: Tasting fee is $5 per person, refundable with any purchase. A limited supply of Intrigue Chocolate truffle bars will be available for purchase.

  • Why Go: Redmond High School Theatre Arts invites the community to the opening weekend of their newest production, Little Shop of Horrors. The play tells the comedic story of a man-eating plant named Audrey and her keeper, Seymour. The play features the lyrics of Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken. Enjoy the show!
  • Cost: Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children.

  • Why Go: Looking for new and exciting beer? Stop by Malt & Vine for its weekly Beer Tasting event. There won’t be a brewery visiting this week, but Malt & Vine has promised to make the tasting a fun and unique experience. Give them a call on Friday to see what they have planned.   • Why Go: Join the wonderfully goofy Eric Ode for a night of music, stories, skits and puppets at the KidsQuest Children’s Museum. The winner of five Parents' Choice Awards, Eric Ode will have you singing along to the tunes of pirates, cowpokes, farm folks and more!
  • Cost: $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Save $2 by purchasing in advance.

 

  • Where/When: 7-11 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at the .
  • Why Go: If you've ever wanted to learn to swing dance, this Saturday might be the best time to try it out. The dance starts with a free group lesson led by USA Dance from 7-8:15 p.m. After the free lesson, be prepared to dance the night away to all the Big Band favorites and the standards.

  • Why Go: If you foresee a visit to the Bellevue Arts Museum anytime in your near future, you might as well make it happen this Friday--admission is free! On top of free admission to all the current exhibits at the museum, you'll also have the opportunity to sit in on special workshops and lectures throughout the day.
