Community Update

My daughter made a reservation for two through Open Table for dinner before a private prom event. When she arrived on time, they waited for a hostess, then were told to seat themselves and directed towards the bar. she is 17 and they sat her IN THE BAR. Despite being told multiple times they were underage, the bartender kept trying to offer them drink specials. To order, she had to get up and walk through the busy restaurant to find a waitress, as they received no service. Today, we got an email from open table stating Beach Cafe claimed she did not show up for her reservation. Their food was fine and they enjoyed the time together before their event, but what a horrible and disappointing show of service, organization and professionalism from Beach Cafe.

I'm still floored they just sat two minors in their bar, let alone kept trying to give them drinks.
