Nick's Grill Wins Patch Best Burrito Poll

Plaza Garcia takes second in a close, see-saw burrito battle all week.

 

OK Blutarsky (see Animal House, 1978) hold your fire, the food fight is over! The best burrito battle in Kirkland has been won, so now please envision a drummer boy snapping out a roll on the snare.

up on the edge of Rose Hill in the Totem Lake area, featuring its signature fearsome Famous Burritos (steak and chicken) has rolled up . Nick's scored 32 of the 83 votes cast and in what cooked down to a two-way race.

Tiny Nick's is something of a sleeper, sort of a best-kept Tex-Mex secret here in Kirkland, consistently scoring well on various on-line review sites, such this one. Which means your friendly Patch editor had best get his behind up there to try that burrito, rapido!

But we also here must tip our sombrero to the runner-up, , one of the friendliest restaurants north of the border, for more than a decade serving fine Mexican food up on Finn Hill. It took the lead at one point midweek, and finished with 27 votes.
