in Kirkland has hired as its new chief nursing officer a director of nursing from a hospital in Kalamazoo, Mich., Nancee R. Hofmeister.
She took over the position at Evergreen on Jan. 31 and is responsible for planning, coordination and direction of nursing. For the past 10 years, Hofmeister held key nursing positions at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, including directing the implementation of an organization-wide computer system for clinical documentation, reporting and the benefits and revenue cycle.

Hofmeister is a registered nurse and holds a Master of Science in Nursing, and is also a board-certified nurse executive.
“Nancee brings an impressive background with her,” Bob Malte, Evergreen CEO, said in a press release. “We are excited for Nancee to join us, and we look forward to her leadership.”
