Get Out: Weekend Planner

Check out these options for fun things to do in and around Kirkland.

Join us Friday, Saturday, Sunday, June 8, 9, 10 from 10am - 5pm for the Kirkland Arts Center Student Ceramics Sale. This event is managed by the KAC ceramics students and supports their artistic endeavors.

Whether you’re having fun in the sun, swaying to the music, smelling the flowers, tasting the food or buying crafts, it’s a wonderful way to start the weekend at the Juanita Friday Market! The festivities start back up on May 11 all the way through October 5 from 3pm to 7pm. Now that Juanita Beach has been restored, the Market is back to its original location by the beach.

  • When: Friday, June 8 at 3pm.
  • Cost: Free.

 

Annual Blue Fish Festival

The Kirkland Youth Council is hosting its annual Blue Fish Festival - a showcase of music and art for local teens - on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 11am to 4pm. The festival will be held at the Kirkland Teen Union Building (KTUB), 348 Kirkland Avenue. The event is free and includes complimentary barbecue provided by the Kirkland Kiwanis. Local bands will perform during the event and a gallery of art from local high school students and community members will be on display at KTUB. Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
