New Restaurant Moving into Former Graces 5 Space in Redmond

Hugo Tapia is planning to open Hugo's Restaurant — with its tagline "Live Healthy, Eat Organic" — next week, he told the Redmond Reporter Friday.

With the new year has come a new sign replacing the Graces 5 restaurant sign in Redmond.

Hugo Tapia is planning to open Hugo's Restaurant — with its tagline "Live Healthy, Eat Organic" — next week, he told the Redmond Reporter.

Graces 5, located at 8110 164th Ave. NE, closed its doors in December after the Washington State Department of Revenue revoked its business license. Graces 5 reportedly owes $38,340 in unpaid taxes.

On their Facebook page Thursday, Graces 5 officials said there's a plan to resolve their issues and reopen elsewhere:

This new year has been interesting. There is a plan forming to resolve all issues that have arisen. We will be reopening elsewhere. There will be more news to come. We will update with the information as it is received.

This is not a short term plan, we are not certain how long it will take to reopen and settle the affairs. Again we apologize for the inconvenience. God bless you all greatly and keep you healthy in this 2013 year.
