Parkplace Cinema Makes a Comfy Escape Right Here in Kirkland

There's nothing like the big screen and booming acoustics of a movie theater to take you to another place.

When you need a great escape, nothing could be easier than a trip to the movies. Leave the kids at home, bring the spouse, friend – or nobody at all – and immerse yourself in another world. There’s something about the smell of popcorn, the near-dark, the hushed sounds of other moviegoers and the booming acoustics of the big screen to transport you across time and space.

Enter, Parkplace Cinema 6.

Located in the heart of downtown Kirkland, Parkplace Cinema 6 is an old-school theater from a time before stadium seating and concessions at the price of a five-course meal. With smaller theater sizes and small crowds (if any at all), it’s a great hometown cinema to enjoy the latest movies.

Adult tickets are $10 for evening shows, $7.50 for matinees. Located near dozens of great restaurants, it’s a perfect escape on its own, or paired with dinner, coffee or dessert.

Plus, if you’re looking for an escape from the house – but not necessarily from the kids – they offer a Baby’s Day at the Movies every other Friday morning at 9:45. Bring your kids without worrying about bothering your neighbor.

So this week, escape into the Big Screen.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
