PSE Hosts Pair of Meetings on New Transmission Line Project

The new line will connect a substation on Willows Road in Redmond to or near the Juanita substation in Kirkland.

Puget Sound Energy will hold two community meetings later this month to gather input on proposed routes for a new 4.5-mile high-voltage transmission line.

The line will transport 115 kilovolts of electricity between a substation on Willows Road in Redmond to or near the Juanita substation in Kirkland. Construction is expected to begin in early 2013.
