Talk to Us: What Do You Think of the New iTunes?

iTunes 11 became available for download on Thursday, touting a much-improved interface. What do you think of it?

The new iTunes 11, now available for both Mac and Windows, has a "completely redesigned" interface, the Huffington Post reports.

If you haven't downloaded it yet, you can see the top five new features, including cloud integration and a new miniplayer, on TechCrunch.

MacWorld gives a thorough review, noting the ability to redeem iTunes gift cards using your computer's camera.

I've had at least one friend on Facebook say the new software pushes his MacBook to the edge of obsolescence, which could be a downside for  cost-conscious users.

So tell us, Patch readers, what do you like or dislike about the new iTunes?

As another sign of problems inside Apple, the itune 11 hangs on my iMac, purchased early this year. The iMap has a good accompany now.

It took me a minute to get use to but as soon as I did I wondered why it wasn't like that before! Love it! Once again Apple gets it.

I wouldn't say you're a stick in the mud, Jeff. Sometimes simplicity of use trumps all the bells and whistles in the world (like a phone that you can just pick up and dial without a slide and three clicks to get to the keypad, for example). Thanks for sharing your review of the product.

itune 11 now refuses to copy over mp4 videos to ipad even though they do work on my ipad and used to be copied over ok with the previous itune. Even worse, itune deleted all those mp4 videos that were currently on my ipad. Very unhappy.

Oh, no, Keith! Does anyone know a workaround for others who haven't downloaded it yet, so they don't lose their movies?
