Trellis Planning "Harvest Your Meal" Dinners

Kirkland's farm-to-table restaurant will design custom dinners after guests pick their own produce.

Kirkland's farm-to-table restaurant is making the most of the summer season, offering what should be a memorable series of custom dinners to guests who harvest their own produce.

Trellis’ “Harvest Your Meal” celebration each Friday in August will shuttle guests down to the restuarant's 10-acre farm in the Sammamish Valley (featured in an earlier Patch story) to pick their own produce. Then it's back to the restaurant with the ingredients for a custom dinner.

"The farm has grown exponentially over the past several years, and now produces hundreds of varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables, berries and honey," says Scheehser. "I look forward to creating meals that are unique to each Trellis guest.”

Scheehser will create custom entrees with each guest's harvest, paired with a selection of fish, pork and beef.

Wine pairing is included in the $100 ticket price, though tax and gratuity are not. An overnight stay option is available at the Heathman Hotel for an additional $149.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
