What's the Best Spot in Kirkland to Celebrate St. Paddy's?

We're seeking readers' favorite places in Kirkland to celebrate all things Irish for next week's Readers' Choice poll, which we will post on Monday!

Basketball is not the only March Madness. Come the 17th everyone goes a little mad with the celebration of the green, from Shamrock Shakes at  to corned beef going on sale at the grocery stores.

Whether celebrating your Irish heritage or pretending you're Irish for the day -- isn't there a wee bit 'o Irish in us all? -- Kirkland Patch wants to know where you'll be getting your green on.

We know the toasts will be flyin' and the pints tippin' at for sure. And other spots as well: , and more.

So please nominate your favorite place in town to celebrate St. Patrick's Day for our Readers' Choice poll, which we will launch on Monday morning, asking: "Where is the best place in Kirkland to celebrate St. Paddy's Day?" You'll have a chance then to vote and add your comments, even review that spot.

The nomination period closes at noon Friday. Watch Monday for your chance to vote, and narrow down the favorite place for St. Patrick's Day.

In the meantime we'd like to share our favorite Irish toast:

"May the roof above us never fall in, and those gathered beneath it never fall out!"

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
