Reminder: 520 Bridge to Close This Weekend
The highway's westbound lanes will also be closed overnight on Wednesday, May 30.
Mark your calendars and plan your routes—the State Route 520 Bridge will be closed all weekend for construction, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Crews plan to demolish the 92nd Avenue Northeast overpass, finish the demolition the old Evergreen Point Road overpass in Medina, and install 34 girders for the new Evergreen Point lidded overpass.

During the closure, drivers will have to find another way across or around Lake Washington from 11 p.m. Friday, June 1, until 5 a.m. Monday, June 4. All lanes and ramps will be closed between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and Interstate 405 in Bellevue.
Crews will also close the westbound lanes of the highway between 92nd Avenue Northeast and Montlake Boulevard from 11 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, to 5 a.m. Thursday, May 31.
