in downtown Kirkland will host a benefit on April 26 to raise money for the series, a creative social event featuring painting, wine, food and door prizes.
With the help of an instructor, each participant will create a 16x20 music-themed painting to take home. The evening will also include complementary wine tasting, appetizers donated by and and door prizes donated by local businesses, including the , , , , , Helga Simmons Interior Design, , Spa Krista and .
“The concerts are such a great thing. We really want to support them,” says MaryJo "M.J." Dermody-Robson, owner of Canvas Paint and Sip on Central Way.
The event is at 7-9:30 p.m. April 26, and costs $45 per person, with all proceeds supporting the concerts. Space is limited. Go to KirklandSummerConcerts.org for more information and to register for the event.
