Canvas Paint and Sip Hosting Concert Series Benefit April 26

Uncork your inner artist and sample wines at an event to support the 35th year of Kirkland's summer concerts.

 

in downtown Kirkland will host a benefit on April 26 to raise money for the series, a creative social event featuring painting, wine, food and door prizes.

With the help of an instructor, each participant will create a 16x20 music-themed painting to take home. The evening will also include complementary wine tasting, appetizers donated by and and door prizes donated by local businesses, including the , , , , , Helga Simmons Interior Design, , Spa Krista and .

“The concerts are such a great thing. We really want to support them,” says MaryJo "M.J." Dermody-Robson, owner of Canvas Paint and Sip on Central Way.

The event is at 7-9:30 p.m. April 26, and costs $45 per person, with all proceeds supporting the concerts. Space is limited. Go to KirklandSummerConcerts.org for more information and to register for the event.

The concert series, an all-volunteer effort, will celebrate its 35th season this year with a strong lineup of shows, including Tuesday morning programs for kids and Thursday evening shows for all. See an about the artists performing this summer.
