  • Why Go: March Madness is almost over, so grab some friends and come out to Sluggers and get some food, drinks and enjoy the games!

  • Why Go: If you're looking for live music this weekend, the Yuppie Pawn might be your best choice. The Late September Dogs put on a great show and seeing them unplugged will be a treat regardless of your music taste. Don't take my word for it though, sample a few tracks from the LSD Myspace Page.
  • Cost: There's never a cover at the Yuppie Pawn, shows are always free.

  • Why Go: Can't make up your mind between breakfast and lunch? Let Le Grand Bistro help solve your dilemma with their brand new brunch options. They'll be serving up omelets, french toast and everything else you would expect from a tasty brunch.
  • Cost: Prices vary, give Grand Bistro a call or stop by the restaurant for more information.

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Sat, April 2. Start at the  in Bellevue, then spend the day hiking in the Snoqualmie Pass area.
  • Why Go: Just because it's Spring doesn't mean you can't pick up a new winter activity. There's been plenty of snow fall this past week and with any luck you'll get a beautiful sunny day of snowshoeing this Saturday. 
  • Pricing: $30 per person, registration required.

  • Where/When: 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Sun, April 3 in the Lakeview Neighborhood of Kirkland.
  • Why Go: Spend Sunday afternoon indulging your sweet tooth at this Ice Cream Social in Kirkland. All proceeds benefit Kirkland Cultural Council events and projects including: Public Art in Kirkland, Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) in Kirkland, Kirkland Artists Studio Tour, Uncorked, Summer music in Marina Park, and Kirkland Art Walks.
  • Cost: Tickets are $25.00 per person and can be ordered from Eventbrite.com


  • Where/When: 8 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at  in Redmond.
  • Why Go: If you've never been to a SecondStory Repertory production you're truly missing out. They always put on a great show and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee should be no exception.  Expect a night filled with laughs and music you can tap your foot to.
