Healthy Siblings Jack and Jill Will Make Some Human Happy

The MEOW Cat shelter in Houghton is also offering Easter prizes this week for those adopting cats.

Jack and Jill are healthy and happy cats, almost four years old, that landed back at in Houghton because their family could no longer afford to keep them.

They are bonded, having been together all their lives, and first came to the shelter as tiny kittens. They look almost exactly alike – except Jill has a white chin and Jack a black chin.

They are both playful, but Jack is more gregarious and vocal, often jumping up on peoples’ shoulders without hesitation. Jill is sometimes submissive, mellow and curious. Both love to sit in a warm, sunny beam of light on the floor, or on a windowsill to watch the world. They seem to be OK with dogs, as long as the dog isn't too boisterous.
