Here Are Some Ideas for Weekend Family Time

This week we offer a carnival, movie, story time, Singing in the Rain -- and don't forget Peter Rabbit.

Where/When: Evergreen Junior High School in the cafeteria, 6900 208th Ave. NE, Redmond, on Saturday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why Go: Children (ages 1 to 5) will love getting their faces painted and playing good, old-fashioned carnival games!

Cost: $5 per family, two game tickets for $1.

 

Where/When: Barnes and Noble, 18025 Garden Way NE, Woodinville, on Saturday, March 19, at 11 a.m.

Why Go: It is time for a National Storytime reading of the kid-friendly favorite book, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle, with fun and games to go along with it!

Cost: Free.

 

Where/When: , 11730 118th Ave. NE, Suite 100, Kirkland, March 11-26.

Why Go: This classic musical will have everyone feeling a little better about the weather!   

Cost: Adults $14, youth/seniors $11.

 

Where/When: Borders Books at Redmond Town Center, Saturday, March 19, at 2 p.m.

Why Go: Kids adore the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” books, and now they are being turned into a new movie -- come celebrate with games and contests!

Cost: Free.

 

Where/When: Barnes and Noble, 18025 Garden Way NE, Woodinville, on Sunday, March 20, at 11 a.m.

Why Go: Peter Rabbit will be at Barnes and Noble in person (in rabbit?) to help with story time!
