Kudos Kirkland Effort at Juanita Bay; Parking Advisory Board Meeting
Things you might want to know today, Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011.
- Daylight is waning as we embark upon September, 95 minutes less than on Aug. 1, with today's sunrise at 6:28 a.m. and sunset at 7:50 p.m.
- Slightly slow day for Kirkland government: Both the Tourism Development Committee and the Hearing Examiner meetings are cancelled today.
- Today’s Parking Advisory Board meeting is at from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The Board usually meets the first Thursday of each month. For past minutes and future agendas, click here.
- Trek over to to join Kudos Kirkland and Nona Ganz of Cascade Land Conservancy in maintaining Kirkland’s lush wetlands. Volunteers are needed to pull weeds that are stifling native vegetation of the park. All are welcome and bring gloves! Pruning will progress from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
