• If you have a great idea to solve Kirkland’s parking woes or are simply interested knowing more about your city, Kirkland’s Parking Advisory Board meets tonight at City Hall from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Call 425-587-3871 for more information.
• The cuisine of Spain is bold, flavorful and full of vibrant colors. Learn recipes and techniques at Sur La Table’s “Classic Dishes of Spain” tonight from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Cost is $69; see website for registration information.
• Enjoy the mellow acoustic pop and soul of Ben Ekstedt at Wilde Rover tonight at 9 p.m. He plays covers of artists like Simon and Garfunkel, John Mayer and The Doobie Brothers along with some original tracks. There is no cover charge for this event.
