PET OF THE WEEK: June Bug is a Calm and Content Cuddle-Puss

This 3-year-old tortoiseshell is good with kids, dogs and other cats, perfectly healthy and ready for adoption.

June Bug is a delightful 3-year-old tortoiseshell that goes with the flow -- nothing seems to phase her and she exudes contentment.

She's happy just lounging in a sunbeam and watching the visitors and other cats in a free-roaming room at in Houghton.

Her seemingly intelligent eyes seem to take it all in, and from time to time she’ll chirp, just to have her say.

Her foster mom describes her as a vocal, playful and gentle lap cat who enjoys being held and loves adventures.  She has lived with children and behaves very well with both dogs and other cats.

June Bug was transferred to MEOW from Everett Animal Shelter one day after giving birth to a litter of kittens. Before that, she was a homeless/free-roaming girl.

The kittens have all been adopted and now it's June Bug’s turn.
Like all the cats at MEOW, she is up-to-date on her vaccinations and dewormings, and has been micro-chipped. She will make somebody a warm and happy cuddle-puss.
