PET OF THE WEEK: Meet Rajah

This week's pet of the week is an exotic short-haired beauty that needs a loving home.

Rajah has one of those unforgettable faces, doesn't she?  Her eyes are the most unusual shade of copper and are striking against her jet black fur.

Rajah is an 8 ½-year-old exotic short haired female who has been declawed in the front. She has the body conformation of a Persian, but has short, plush fur giving her the appearance of a living teddy bear! She has a high 'snuggle factor' and we find it hard to resist her requests for attention at the shelter. Exotic short hairs are well known for being gentle, affectionate and intelligent -- all of which Rajah exceeds at!

She was found as a free-roaming cat in 2007, was adopted and then returned in late 2010 because the owners were experiencing many life changes and could no longer care for her. She does well with children and other cats. Dogs are an unknown.

Rajah is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV (feline leukemia/feline aids), has received a series of vaccines and dewormings. Additionally, she had a complete dental in December. She's ready for the purrfect someone--could that be you?

Milo will make a loving companion for someone. If you are interested in giving him a home, see www.meowcatrescue.org or call 425-822-6369.
