Purebred Ragdoll Katelyn is a Kitty You Could Love

The former owner had to give up this gentle and easygoing cat after developing allergies.

Katelyn is a beautiful 6-year-old cat with lynx point coloring, a purebred Ragdoll that originally came from a breeder in Illinois. She was surrendered to when the man in her family developed serious allergies.

Her previous owner described Katelyn as gentle, tolerant, easygoing, friendly and independent. She seems to be a true-to-breed Ragdoll who likes being held and adores her food. Katelyn is used to interacting with children of all ages and also has lived with both a cat and a dog--she really liked playing with her canine companion.

The cat charmer toy is one of her favorites. She uses both carpeted post and cardboard scratching surfaces.

She enjoys human company as well as some alone time and will adjust to changes in her life at an average rate for a cat. Be ready for lots of purring and head butts! Katelyn likes to be held but should be approached slowly and gently to give her a chance to get used to new people picking her up.

She should do well in a home with children, if they are introduced to each other gradually, with adult supervision, and the children are old enough to read Katelyn's signals and respect her boundaries.

She's perfectly healthy, has had all her shots and is micro-chipped. If you can give Katelyn a home or want more information, see www.meowcatrescue.org or call 425-822-6369.
