Sleep Pink for a Cure at the Heathman

The Heathman Hotel is offering an all pink room through the end of October or beyond, with all proceeds going to Komen Puget Sound

The in Kirkland is finishing out a fun promotion to help support the Susan B. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.  All month the hotel has been offering people the option to stay in an all-pink room, which is also adorned with art created by a breast cancer survivor.

The hotel originally planned to offer a room all decked out in pink through the end of the month, and donate all of the proceeds from that room to Komen Puget Sound. A hotel spokesperson says, however, as long as people continue booking the room, the Heathman will keep the pink campaign going. So far, every night has been booked since the promotion began Oct. 4.

The inside the hotel is also offering special packages with the proceeds going to the foundation, including pink mani-pedis and other spa treatments.

The hotel hopes to finish up the month by booking all the remaining nights, and says it will also donate $1 for each new like on its Facebook page from now until the end of the month.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
