Valentine's: Where to Find Sweets for Your Sweet

We asked Kirkland Patch Facebook followers what the most delicious chocolate around is. Here are their answers for those last minute Valentine shoppers.

If you're going to buy chocolate for your special Valentine, there's pretty much no reason you can't pick up something nice around here, with an abundance of options. We asked our Facebook followers what their favorites are to help you avoid getting stuck with mass-produced tokens of affection.

Alex said: "Bliss's chocolates. I had food allergies, and his vegan chocolates are heavenly. Silky smooth, melty, chocolatey heaven in your mouth. the best chocolates ever! he's based in Olympia but you can order online."

Aimee loves Brugge Chocolates in Redmond. We wrote a story about them last year.

Wendy was emphatic: "Edible Arrangements all the way! Their chocolate covered strawberries are the best!"

Sometimes the old standards are the way to go. Kayla told us,  "Trader Joe's has my favorite dark chocolate bars!"

Kristina recommends Oh Chocolate, which has locations in Bellevue and Mercer Island. It has "fabulous salted caramel chocolates...omg. Heavenly," she said.

Karen says Sweet Cakes mini cupcakes are the bomb.

Anyone know where to other great delights we haven't mentioned? Tell us in the comments.
