Winter's First Snowfall in Kirkland

Prepare for possibly slippery roads on higher hills during your morning commute. A National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory says it should all be gone by late morning. Let us know conditions in your area!

Morning commuters were greeted by light snowfall on some of Kirkland's hills Wednesday morning, but roads appeared to be bare and wet and Metro Transit reported all buses on schedule at 6 a.m. (see the Metro Alerts page here).

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Puget Sound region. It indicates any snow in the lowlands should end by 10 a.m., with a rising snow level. Here is your Kirkland forecast and below is the NWS advisory.

Please let us know conditions or concerns in your area in the comments box below!

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
