In partnership with Google, Inrix, Microsoft and the UW Foster School of Business the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce is producing a Startup Weekend. This is a great opportunity for a budding entrepreneur to show what they can do.

We would encourage students who are studying computer technology to apply. We offer a 25% discount if they
register by November 31 (they enter the code: student12).

Here is some basic information about the event and an attached poster promoting it.

Startup Weekend Kirkland: Nov 9-11, 2012

Share your business ideas, join a team, and build a startup during a 54-hour marathon at the scenic, waterfront Woodmark Hotel near downtown Kirkland. Peter
Wilson, Engineering Director at Facebook, is the keynote speaker; the roster of star judges includes VCs and startup entrepreneurs such as Rahul Sood, Charlie
Kindel, Chris DeVore, Janis Machala, and Alex Gounares. Learn, inspire, and empower. Are you up for the challenge?
