Author and professor of Moral and Historical Theology at Seattle Pacific University, Dr. Richard B. Steele will teach a free four-week class at Lake Washington United Methodist Church (7525 132nd AVE NE, Kirkland, WA 98033) on Sunday mornings at 9 am, beginning February 3. The subject will be "Christian Prison Literature,” based on a new book he is writing. To give an overview of the historical sweep of the writings of imprisoned Christians, he'll spend a week each on Perpetua of Carthage, Thomas More, and Martin Luther King, Jr. The last week will include reflections and insights from Dr. Steele based on his experiences of teaching this course in two Washington state prisons.
