Master gardener and mason bee farmer Missy Anderson will teach children (and parents!) about friendly mason bees and lead us in a related craft to take home. Non-stinging orchard mason bees are native to the Pacific Northwest and are important for pollinating flowers and vegetables in the early spring. We’ll learn to look for mason bees in our gardens and how to provide the habitat they need to do their busy work in our yards every year. A great way to get the kids interested in the outdoors and gardening.

Event is free and open to the public, RSVP appreciated (events@eastsidemothersclub.com) to insure enough craft materials available.  Sponsored by the Eastside Mothers Club, www.eastsidemothersclub.com.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
