"Tackling Your Tweens Safety.. Together!"

A Workshop for parents and their Tween 4th/5th/6th/7th graders

7PM - 8:15 PM

Your tween is growing and wanting more independence. Although panic inducing to parents, it is a normal part of growing up. This workshop will help you and your tween create a safety plan that you can both live with.

PARENTS will gain tips and tools to help you explore your tweens readiness for more independence.

TWEEN'S will gain solid safety steps that they will need to help navigate through this very exciting chapter of their lives.

Tweens will brainstorm:

  • Home alone readiness and safety

  • Ideas on how to get out of risky peer situations

  • Cellphones

  • Identifying the top things that are freaking your parents out and how you can help calm them down

Building a safety plan together will help open up communication and will reduce their risk of sexual abuse, bullying and abduction.

(Ticket Price includes registration for 1 adult + 1 Tween)

Workshop date 12/05/2012 -  PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED!

Parents MUST attend with their Tween!

Child must be 9 years old to attend

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
