Help Restore Kiwanis Park

Join Friend of Kiwanis Park and community volunteers as they gather each month to remove invasive species and plant native plants in Kiwanis Park

Where to meet: 1405 10th St. W., Kirkland
                          Kirkland, WA 98033
                          Meet at the wooden sign by the picnic tables

What to Bring: Please dress for the weather (layers are encouraged), wear close-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a filled water bottle and snacks to munch on. Tools and training will be provided

Youth Volunteers: Volunteers age 14-17 attending the event without a parent or guardian must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to the event with them. Go to www.greenkirkland.org to download the Green Kirkland Youth Volunteer Waiver. Volunteer under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Directions: Kiwanis Park From I-405 Southbound: take the NE 124th Street exit (exit 20) and turn right onto NE 124th Street. Turn left onto 100th Avenue NE, which becomes 98th Avenue NE, which becomes Market Street. Turn right off Market onto 16th Ave. W, then proceed down to 10th St W and turn left at the T intersection. End at park entrance ½ block on the right. Park on the street. From I-405 Northbound: take the NE 85th Street exit (exit 18) toward Kirkland and turn slight right onto NE 85th Street / WA-908 which becomes Central Way near the downtown area. At the end of Central Way turn right onto Market Street then left onto 16th Avenue W. Proceed down to 10th St W and turn left at the T intersection. End at park entrance ½ block on the right. Park on the street.
