LWHS Concert Showcases Student Musicians

Lake Washington Musicians Showcase
Winning Performances in April 23 concert

Enjoy performances by superior student musicians at the annual Showcase of Excellence concert at 7 p.m. April 23 at Lake Washington High School Performing Arts Center. The orchestra, band and Lyrica (the advanced choir) will perform the music that earned the students top awards at recent regional competitions.

The Showcase concert will feature the soloists and ensembles who will represent LWHS in the State Competition at Central Washington University on April 25-26.  All ticket sales from the Showcase benefit students as they prepare to travel to Anaheim, Ca. in late May to perform in the World Strides Heritage Festival.

Tickets are $10 each and are available at the door. LWHS is located at 12033 NE 80th St.  The students also will hold a fund-raiser car wash on May 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bridle Trails Dairy Queen to raise money for the Anaheim trip.
