Teaching Parents Association is a local non profit dedicated to supporting parents who are homeschooling their children and to those who are interested in homeschooling. Parent meetings are held monthly and consist of a presentation or speaker about a specific topic and time for open discussion of issues facing participants in their homeschooling process.
The September 9th meeting will be an open discussion about the homeschooling process and a curriculum exchange. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are interested in or new to homeschooling to get information on how to get started and pick up some curriculum or educational materials. It is also a great time for experienced homeschoolers to share their knowledge and connect with other homeschooling parents.
This is a potluck event; please bring a dish to share.
