VALA Eastside and Redmond Town Center partner to bring you a unique interactive art experience this holiday season. The VALA Art Studio: Artist in Residence (AIR) Program is a temporary home to nine resident artists to share their artistic processes in a free, community environment. At the VALA Art Studio, located in the former Borders Bookstore in Redmond Town Center, the community will have the opportunity to meet local artists in action, purchase handmade art, participate in art activities and view live performances over the course of four consecutive weekends November 29th through December 22nd, 2013.
Grand opening festivities on November 29th include introduction of the featured artists starting at 10am, Redmond Town Center Tree Lighting at 5pm and Chamber Music by the Parnassus Project at 5:30pm. Grand opening events sponsored by King FM and 425 Magazine.
