Eastside Taste of the Town

The Eastside Business Association has sponsored Taste of the Town since 2007.  The goal of the "Taste" is to support Children's Country Home for Medically Fragile Children by bringing the Top twelve voted "Best Eastside Restaurants" to the community, and to provide a unique opportunity for them to compete for 'best of' in five categories: Best Appetizer, Best Main Course, Best Dessert, Best Presentation, and the final award, "The Taste of the Town".

We will present samplings of each restaurant's entries in the five categories for you to vote on, also wine pairings and samplings compliments of our corporate sponsor, Columbia Winery.  We will also be serving Martinis and other yummy drinks.  Internationally renowned pianist and composer, Scott Cossu will provide live musical entertainment.  A silent auction and brief live auction will complete the evening to benefit Children's Country Home in Woodinville, Washington.

Children's Country Home offers a home to medically fragile children.  Since 1997, Children's Country Home has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of medically fragile children by providing 24-hour skilled care with dignity and compassion to technology dependent children and their families.  All proceeds raised through 'Taste of the Town' auction fund proprams respite, transitional, long-term and hospice care events to this non-profit 501c3 organization.  Their program details are available at www.childrenscountryhome.org.
